At Borovets Riding, we believe that every ride should bring joy, peace and confidence – for both the person and the horse. Equestrian sport is an incredible experience that connects us with nature and one of the most noble animals in the world. But to make this experience completely enjoyable and safe, there is one rule we never compromise on – we always wear a helmet when riding.
🧠 Why is a helmet so important?
Even the calmest and most well-trained horse can startle at a sudden noise or movement. This is a completely natural reaction – horses are sensitive and quick animals.This is why rider protection is of paramount importance. A helmet protects the head in the event of a fall or unexpected movement, reduces the risk of injury and gives you peace of mind to concentrate on training and connecting with your horse.

As licensed equestrian instructors, we are trained to put safety first. This is not just a requirement, but part of the professional etiquette and care we owe to each of our visitors – whether they are riding for the first time or have experience.
🤠 What about cowboy hats?
We completely understand the desire of many to feel like real cowboys, riding under the open sky with a wide hat on their heads. It's an iconic image that we all associate with the spirit of freedom and adventure. And yes – hats have their place with us, but not during training or actual riding. For those who want to capture a special moment or take beautiful photos with the horses, we offer professional photo shoots.During the photo shoot, you can safely wear a cowboy hat, your favorite outfit, and the horse you have chosen - in a safe and controlled environment, under our supervision. This way, you will not only get wonderful shots, but you will also experience a romantic, authentic atmosphere without compromising on safety.
